USA Missiles

What kind of missiles are used in USA for offensive or defensive purposes? Does USA manufacture these missiles? If not, where are they allocated from? Does USA's local military have missiles capable of intercontinental travel?

The US has the most advanced missiles of virtually every kind in the world. There are 5th and 6th generation air to air, air to surface, surface to air, ICBM, SLBM, cruise missiles, anti ship missiles, and anti tank missiles. There are multiple different types of missiles in each category. There are countries that approach the US in one or two categories but no country comes close to the US when considering all categories.

Nothing like the news giving out what is a line of defense where it is and how it is supposed to work so that it can be defeated. I hope we have something else that they are not telling the News media.

I'm pretty sure this isn't anything super secret. I think we had to report this as part of a treaty with Russia. I'm not saying the press wouldn't hesitate to report on something that was secret, jut that this isn't that thing.

Yeah I understand that but I just think that the news needs to keep thier mouths shut some times too. Granted we have to tell others as part of an agreement but does the press really need to know?

If I remember correctly, as part of the agreement all of these sites had to be completely unclassified. So, it would be easy for the press or anyone else to find out. That said, I agree with you that the press needs to keep some stuff quiet.
