Yes, harshly is a bit too mild for me. This is statutory rape and this little girl was taken advantage of due to her age. I hate rape. I was in the Middle East for most of my career and I either saw or heard about adults taking advantage of young girls and boys. For me regarding the people in this case. I'd have a very fair trial, find them guilty, put them in a room with an anvil, tie their genitals down on the anvil and give this girl's family a sledgehammer and say have at 'em. Then I'd take them to jail… and it would probably be women's' prison at this point since they'd have nothing left of their manhood.
