Even with the massive protests and virtual hunger I do not recall reading any major terrorist acts. Maybe the military is too well intertwined in the public that such things are quickly reported and arrests made.

Terrorists come in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. By flavors I mean the tactics they use. A civilian protester with a Molotov cocktail he throw through a store front window is every much a terrorist as the guy with the IED strapped across his chest. They are both also freedom fighter and patriots. It's all a matter of point of view. So yes, there are terrorists in Venezuela.
