'I do not recall': Read Trump's written answers to Mueller on Russian contacts, Trump Tower meeting. As part of special counsel Robert Mueller's 448-page report, which was released Thursday, the Justice Department also released President Donald Trump's written answers to dozens of questions from Mueller's office relating to key aspects of the investigation into whether the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election. Trump said more than 30 times that he did not "Recall" or "Remember" or have an "Independent recollection" of events related to key questions surrounding the Russia investigation. Ref. USAToday.
Mueller: If we had confidence Trump didn't commit a crime, we would have said so. Special counsel Robert Mueller said in a rare and remarkable public statement Wednesday that charging President Donald Trump was not an option his office could consider.
Mueller, speaking from the Justice Department, said he's closing the special counsel's office and returning to private life.
"If we had confidence the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so," Mueller said.
Mueller also said that he does not intend to testify before Congress, as House Democrats have been pressing him to do. The special counsel said he decided himself against testifying, adding that any testimony would not go beyond the report. Ref. CNN.
This is like flogging a dead horse hopping to get more out of it. He already said what he said, this reminds me of prosecution lawyers… they can only take someone to trial if they can SHOW they have evidence but its obvious that Muller is saying what they have isn't enough to charge the president of the United States.

Supreme Court blocks disclosure of secret grand jury evidence from Russia probe to Congress for now
The ruling puts on hold a lower court's ruling that would have allowed such disclosure while it decides whether to take the case on appeal. House Democrats and the Justice Department have been locked in a legal battle over grand jury testimony gathered during former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election.
