Airstrike in Baghdad kills powerful Iranian military leader Soleimani, according to Iraqi TV. Gen. Qassim Soleimani, an extremely influential figure inside Iran, heading Iran's elite Quds Force, was killed Thursday night in an airstrike at Baghdad's international airport, Iraqi TV reported. It was not immediately clear who carried out the airstrikes, although it comes amid clashes between the U.S. And Iran in Iraq.
