One more time, why is CNN trying to find information that is clearly classified? And why is some unnamed official giving this information up? There has to be a limit on this. Yes, freedom of the press, got it. There is freedom of speech too, but you can't go into a theater and yell fire. Why, because it harms people. Well, the press shouldn't be allowed to actively go out and seek classified information because that could potentially hurt 315 million people one day.

So many in the media don't care about anything but scoops and looking good to their bosses. National security doesn't matter to them at all. Journalism is basically mostly yellow journalism now. They release information that could hurt the nation and don't care. They release uncorroborated stories because they want to run hit pieces on people. It's just sad. All this 24 hour media available and there isn't one that you can watch that actually presents anything close to objective news with journalistic standards.

That is correct the media does not care about anything but thier numbers and bottom line. If they can make something up and sale it to the public the can make a name for themselves and maybe get a scoop on the competition. This is why we see leaks and other things that could harm us or others in a big way.
