British researchers have made a genetic discovery which could help to solve the obesity epidemic. Scientists found that some children may be genetically predisposed to eat more.

They need to redefine their terminology. If it's an "epidemic," then it's an illness or condition that can happen to anyone. If it's "genetically predisposed," then only certain people could be affected. It can't be both, and you can't solve an epidemic by identifying only genetically predisposed people.
Just another false flag to raise hopes in obese people that "a magic rescue is on the way!" in my opinion.
And another thing: To say it's been discovered "in children" means something, doesn't it? Is it ONLY in children? Okay, then what about the millions of obese adults who were not obese as children?
Personally, I believe that children do have a different "hunger" issue than adults, simply because their bodies are still growing and require different resources than adults. So, if "they" have discovered something in children and not in adults... maybe it's peculiar to that stage of life.
Interesting, nonetheless.
