If your combat troop was under fire from a sniper and you need that sniper to be removed in order to move your troop's position what would be the best course of action if you have no backup?
Assuming the sniper is staying in the same position and you're in enemy territory you will have to use distraction while some scouts split up to see where the bullets are coming from. Its a slow process but if its the only way to get him without being shot then you'll have to do it. You also have to consider that the sniper might have his own lookouts looking for you while you are looking for him.

This is a tough question. How many people are in your troop? If it's a squad, around ten, a good sniper would take out all ten before they got close, snipers almost always work in teams. Making taking them out more difficult. With a larger unit, Vex's approach would work, but it would be costly. The best approach is to use a sniper team doing counter sniper duties, but you have to have one of them available.
