Yang Zeng Murder Case

Yang Zeng, is the ninth foreign national to be murdered this year. According to the news media the bandits possibly staked out the business place (See Chinese national killed in mini-mart robbery*), waited til they were about to close and made their move. Chinese nationals seem to be a target of focus for the criminal element in Trinidad. On the Beyond The Tape when Insp. Alexander was on the show he hinted that it could be because of the way they handle their cash and their lack of security. Even if Chinese nationals are not taking the best of security of measures should they be the target of robbery and murder? Why do we focus on such trivial things in Trinidad and Tobago instead of addressing what is happening in the country?

Alexander's statement shows how little respect he has for the tragic loss of a life and is quite eager to point out what the deceased didn't do -and should / could / might have done versus what the force is doing to address this serious issue.
