This is very cool but I think the best way to find life is to send out more probes like Viking that were designed specifically with finding signs of life in mind. Who knows, we may find another planet out there capable of supporting life, like Earth. If we do, sign me up. I'll be the guy in charge of the defense force… who knows what types of creatures bent on eating us we might find there.
