What are your thoughts about the animal "African Wild Dog"?

Brief description of the "African Wild Dog": The African wild dog is quite different from the more familiar domestic dogs or the gray wolf. It has highly specialised sharp shearing teeth, large round ears and only four toes on its front feet, rather than five.

Such a sad thing to happen. The parents were in so much shock that they had to be medicated but what I don't understand is how the boy got there in the first place.

What a strange animal! Some of the social characteristics even put it outside of the canine species: feeding on carcasses (since I really doubt it hunts elephants or rhinos) and serving rigurgitated meals to its puppies, for instance. Never heard of this strange dog before.
