Barack Obama's White Mother: Ann Dunham

You're probably wondering why I titled this Thread in this manner. I was listening to the radio today and one commentator (A Black man) was saying that no one acknowledges Obama's White heritage and the fact that it was his White mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, who raised him with very little input from his Black father. He went on to say that since Obama is half black they only see him as a Black man and that his White blood is of no matter despite his mother, who raised him was White. What are your thoughts?

Her son is the striking image of his mother. You bring up a point that I've always thought but in politically correct America its difficult to express anything without being labelled "Racist". To back up what is being said I can count on my hand the mount of times that Obama's mother has been mentioned versus his father, its always about his father even though he didn't raise him!
