Vampire: The Masquerade was my first pen and paper Role-playing Game - if you haven't decided on an edition, ill gladly run 2nd e. I kinda feel the addition of Dementation and alot of the other Disciplines kinda ruined the feel of the game - they aren't really vampire powers in the trad. Sense. I'm a big fan of Malkavians - difficult to play, but I love playing them when I am actually a player. Anyhow, I could pull out an old scenario I was working on and set up a game if you are interested - modern day setting, and a lot of the characters are atypical - for example, the Prince of the city is a Nosferatu, but she covers her face in a white mask and wears long gloves and boots and a flowing red sress, showing no skin, because she used to be beautiful, and cannot stand what she has become. She actively loathes other Nosferatu, because they remind her what she is. For some extra… fun, one of you might want to be a Nosferatu. Anyhow, anyone who wants me for Storyteller, and who likes what I've said here, post a reply. Ill be back(Insert Arnie here).
Okay. Just so you know, we're going with the calssic city setting - and I go for a bit more of a violent and cruel feel with my games - less interested in the Anne Rice style drama, but it won't be totally absent. Think Lost Boys, but taken a bit more seriously. The characters are NOT nice people, as a general rule, and the world will be a cutthroat one, so make sure to consider your characters accordingly. Also, like I said, try and keep your skills and disciplines within the boundaries of the 2nd edition core rulebook, which I pretty much know by heart at this point.
Sounds fine by me. Have you run Play By Post games on a forum like this before? Whether you have or not, you might want to check out the following thread

Between me and Kyr, you do have the minimum number of players to get started. But I'd suggest trying to pick up a few more first, and working on how you want to handle the game in the meantime.
Welp, there are a lot of Role-playing Game players over in the Dungeons & Dragons section. Several good people to be found there. Of course, I can make no guarantees as to how many of them would be interested in this particular game.
You can also watch the new forum members coming in for people interested in Role-playing Games, and can make a personal invite. Bear in mind that there are no guarantees on how many will bite, nor whether or not they'll stick around.

Oh, yes! I have been wanting to join a Vampire the Masquerade for a very long time, even with a few ideas on characters.
I admit, the idea I wish to try the most is that of a character of Clan Ventrue who follows the Road of Heaven.
