Who are the significant persons (heroic, political, religious, military) of lore in Trinidad & Tobago that would make good characters in a role-playing game if you were to convert their known history into a RPG character? Consider Trinidad & Tobago's history and modern personalities in your answer.

Sad to say, I cannot think of anyone in Trinidad and Tobago's history that would make a good Role-playing Game character save maybe for an invented one such as the Carib chiefs that were so war like that they stop colonization of the island for decades.
