In yet another report of a shooting death, around 5.30 a.m. Yesterday, as he was about to open the gates to his mini-mart, a 49-year-old proprietor of Charles Street, Battoo Avenue, Marabella, was stopped by a lone gunman who fired one shot, hitting him in the head.
Fyzal Mohammed died around mid-morning on the operating table at the San Fernando General Hospital. Police believe the killer, who did not wear a mask, went to rob Mohammed, but turned on him when the businessman fought back.
