I have often said to may own family that people these days behave more and more irrational partially because of what they put in their body. Food is a drug and can have an effect on you, people need to know what they are stuffing themselves with on a daily basis. Much of that commercial food has plenty additives that are artificially produced and would not otherwise be found in natural foods.
I agree with your assessment that food has a lot to do with how people behave. But to be fair in this particular case, it says the exposure to VIOLENCE (Mainly computer games I assume) made them consume unhealthy foods and lead to obesity (Due to the fact they sit down for hours to play).
One could argue that the aggressive tendencies come from said exposure rather than dietary choices. In other words, unhealthy eating is not linked to violence but rather violence to unhealthy eating.
Yes, but in truth we do so much that is unhealthy for us any more. We eat wrong and we eat too much. We over medicate ourselves. We are way too sedentary. We are addicted to violence. We treat each other poorly. We worship fame and money. And then we wonder why society is fraying at the edges.
