What kind of missiles are used in India for offensive or defensive purposes? Does India manufacture these missiles? If not, where are they allocated from? Does India's local military have missiles capable of intercontinental travel?

Missiles India
India is a minor player in the missile field. They have developed anti tank, anti aircraft, air to air, air to ground, and some anti ship capable missiles but they are generations behind the US here. They also have developed IRBMs and are developing true ICBM capabilities. All this said, they still have a long way to go to reach the capabilities of the missile super powers.
