Israel Missiles

What kind of missiles are used in Israel for offensive or defensive purposes? Does Israel manufacture these missiles? If not, where are they allocated from? Does Israel's local military have missiles capable of intercontinental travel?

Israel is a small, advanced country that has spent a lot of money on her defense. They do this because they are surrounded by enemies and countries that have attacked them in the past on literally every land border. They have a huge inventory of the most advanced missiles the US produces. They have also developed their own anti ballistic missile screen, which I understand is very effective.

While they have a great missile defense they are still being hit with small range missiles. I think they are always ready for rocket attacks that come at them more often than not.

Yeah, their missile defense is more about defending them from IRBMs with large warheads or nuclear warheads from Iran.

Yeah I understand that. The long range missiles are more of a deadly threat than the short range rocket attacks but there should be a way to stop that too.

There so darn hard to stop because they have a relatively short travel time. You'd something like the Phalanx system they mount on ships… which is a 20mm Vulcan Gatling Machine Gun mated to, targeting and direction finding computers and a radar system. It's very effective but it's short range. It would take thousands of them around their border, but they'd be secure afterwards.
