Is the subject of Muslims in Tunisia taboo?
If you mentioned to a local that you are part of or support the Muslims in Tunisia will that be taken with objection?
Is there fighting among different groups of Muslims in Tunisia? For instance Tunisia Sunni Muslims vs Shia Muslims, etc.

Tunisia is overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim. They are a fairly tolerant country though when it comes to religion and they have minorities of other sects of Islam, mostly Ibadi and Suffi. The Suffi sect practices mysticism mixed in with it Islam and particularly hates by ISIS. The fact that Tunisia protects them is quite rare in the Islamic world. There are still communities of Christians and Jews in Tunisia… another indicator of their tolerance.
