A new study found that a policy called reference pricing is effective at encouraging patients to spend significantly less on prescription drugs by choosing cheaper drugs over name brand options. The price of drugs here in the United States is out ragious. People in other countries can get the same name brand drugs for pennies on the dollar of what we pay here. Talk about fleecing the people.
