I like to play rifts and AD&D 2nd edition, and iI have been playing for over 20 years. I wanted to check the site out as I saw it referred to from a facebook group. Nice to meet you all.

Thanks very much, I saw the link to the rifts game from a post on Facebook by JB, and I thought I would like to give it a try to see how a play by post game works.

I have always enjoyed the wide spectrum game that rifts provides as it has a tremendous amount of facets for gameplay.

I will likely look at some of the 2e Play By Post games to see how they work as well. Second edition AD&D is one of my favorite games, as well as the one I cut my teeth on originally. I started playing it in 1992, so it definitely is one I would like to try in this medium.

I have never played play by post before so the experience will most assuredly be an interesting one. I am hoping it will be much less "Roll" and much more "Role" as the dice are not always the best arbiters for role playing games.

My apologies that initial post was not very detailed, I was just trying to get my account authorized in a short time-frame. In my haste I left a lot to be desired.
