Focus On Past Success For Depression Or Anxiety

In shaky times, focus on past successes, if overly anxious, depressed. The more chaotic things get, the harder it is for people with clinical anxiety and/or depression to make sound decisions and to learn from their mistakes. On a positive note, overly anxious and depressed people's judgment can improve if they focus on what they get right, instead of what they get wrong, suggests a new study. Source 9h.

Anxiety Depression Success Past Focus

It is easier said than done. People dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD don't see things this way. They tend to ruminate a lot about past mistakes to the point of making them very sad and depressed. It is hard to break this cycle. Perhaps, channeling those negative thoughts through meditation or other relaxing activity can become a good coping mechanism.

Focus On Past Success For Depression Or Anxiety Health & Special Psychology

I have moderate depression and anxiety from my service in the military. The VA has (Or had) DBT classes and those were very helpful.

Anxiety Depression Success Past Focus

People who are depress should look at life and find success. Don't look for the bad. I know it is hard to do but you can do it. Call a friend in your time of need.
