Robert Le Hunte

Name: George

Title: Local politics

Comments: Why after 55 years of independence we are still discovering that it is possible for an individual holding citizenship of another nation can be place in an important position of responsible in this country when this is contrary to the laws of our constitution? Something is not right here.

It's still an issue here, surprisingly. It's funny when you apply for certain things, even something as basic as signing up for an exam officials will have to be scrambling for information based on nationality, especially when there's a double involved (Citizen of trinidad and the US for example).

Robert Le Hunte resigned from government effective the 16 May, 2020. Can't say that I am sad about it. That man's 'vision' about raising the price we pay for water and electricity always made me upset. Remember, how he treated the police officer when he was driving to parliament. Sounds like he has an aura of arrogance about him. He still is the vice chair of the PNM but maybe not for long?
