I am half way through the code on this. Basically, once you enter the data for your parents / grand parents it cannot be changed as there should not be a reason to change a Character's ancestry, but should the Dungeon Master be able to edit it for some reason, if so why?

Immediate thought for why to allow edits? A character's ancestry differing from what they had been told. For all those "No, I am your father" moments.

Character Genealogy is now complete and active. An icon will display in your Role-playing Game Posts named "Ancestral Line" once your Character has filled out the Pedigree chart. The Dungeon Master can also make his / her 'mark' on it. If there are any issues this Thread will continue to be used for Support for the Character Genealogy feature.

That's a really cool addition for character sheets in the games. I can see this going the other way too if you want to see if a character has children but you know which adventurer stops for that? .
