With this still being in the early stages of figuring out what actually happened and why it happened I will not say that he was or was not doing this for ISIS. Either way over 400 people were injured and I am sure the number of deaths will rise too. It is a sad day.

It is a sad day. I heard the gunfire on the news. It was full auto. He either figured out where to get multiple full auto weapons, which would be tough to do, or he modified his own weapons, which is easy. I can make damn near any semi auto a full auto weapon with a simple file. It isn't hard to do.

The way it sounded he made these with a file since it wasn't sporadic gunfire but sounds like a full magazine being fired each time. That is what happens when you use a file, the gun fires until the rounds are simply gone. Releasing the trigger doesn't matter.

Regarding killing themselves, it is okay in Islam to kill yourself as part of a martyr's death. To keep oneself from being captured you can kill yourself and go claim your virgins in heaven. Yeah, it's possible this guy converted but as KN said, it's still too early.

What a terrible thing to have this happen in our country. There were 20,000 plus in that concert that were all affected and all the family and friends that know those 20,000+ will be just as worried and emotional over it. Worst was the children that got caught up in it.
