Hemorrhagic occlusive retinal vasculitis (HORV) is a rare, potentially blinding postoperative complication that has been observed in dozens of patients who have received intraocular injections of vancomycin (Anti-infective) formulations toward the end of otherwise uncomplicated cataract surgeries.
