Crime is so bad in Trinidad that bandits rob the church and the congregation during mas and its not the first time.

I don't want to put them down, but knowing the pattern of crime in this island I'm pretty sure the same worshipers know the robbers, at least one of them. If you don't know anyone whom you have bad terms with it's unlikely you would be targeted especially in a compound such as around a church, but the possibility always remains.
