This year, Girl Scouts are sweetening the deal
To quote Cookie Monster, "Me want cookie now!" To quote your local Girl Scout, "How many boxes?" The Girl Scout cookie drive, one of the world's greatest sales campaigns, resumes Jan. 31 with a sweet new twist. Ref. Source 6

Girl Scouts Convention Features Pro-Abortion Speakers
Girl Scout leaders and members from across the nation will come together next month for their annual convention and the event, dubbed Renewing the Promise, again raises questions about the organization and the issue of abortion.
The Girl Scouts have come under fire from pro-life advocates for various connections to the Planned Parenthood abortion business - with former Planned Parenthood abortion facility direct Abby Johnson suggesting that pro-life Girl Scouts quit the organization.
The Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) will celebrate 100 years of existence during its 52nd National Convention on November 10-13 with a slate of keynote speeches and plenary speakers. However, the watchdog group Speak Now Girl Scouts tells LifeNews today that they "underscore the once venerable organization's penchant for far left agendas targeted for today's young members."
Speak Now spokeswoman Christy Volanski says the speakers build on the problems prolife advocates had with the 2005 Girls Scouts convention, where GSUSA drew criticism for having Kavita Ramdas, the CEO of the pro-abortion group Global Fund for Women and Dr. Johnetta Cole, an abortion advocate whose views eventually Global Fund for Women and Dr. Johnetta Cole, at their event. In 2008, the Girl Scouts honored pro-abortion activist Marie Wilson, founder of the Reproductive Rights Coalition and Organizing Fund, president of the Ms Foundation for Women and the founder and President of the White House Project. Accompanying Wilson as a keynote that year was actress Geena Davis of SeeJane, another abortion advocate. Ref. Source 1

Girl Scout Employee Quits, Not Allowed to Wear Pro-Life Shirt
The Girl Scouts, which have already come under fire for numerous links to the Planned Parenthood abortion business and having pro-abortion speakers at their recent national conference, are under fire again.
Now, an Arizona college student who is an employee of the Girl Scouts has quit her job after scouting leaders informed her she would have to turn her pro-life T-shirt inside out. Renise Rodriguez, a 21-year-old religious studies major at the University of Arizona, worked as a Girl Experience Associate for the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona in Tucson.
When she went to her office last week during her off-duty hours to prepare materials for a meeting, she was told twice by a supervisor that if she planned to stay in the office or attend a troop meeting she would have to turn her shirt inside out. Rodriguez quit in response. Ref. Source 4
10 Year-Old leaves Girl Scouts Over Planned Parenthood Ties
Grace Swanke sells cookies for a pro-life cause. This heroic 10-year-old girl was once a loyal Girl Scout cookie-seller in Boise, Idaho.
That changed one day after a family meeting with her parents, John and Mary Swanke. The meeting was called to discuss information the Swankes discovered about the Girl Scouts Organization's connection with Planned Parenthood. The connection, though denied by some, has stirred up frustration with people across the nation. Ref. Source 7
Girl Scouts Still Humming the Pro-Abortion Chorus
The Girl Scouts" Law insists that Girl Scouts be "responsible for what I say and do." When it comes to abortion, however, the Girl Scouts USA 'says" the magic words that keep pro-life members in the fold (I.e. That Girl Scouts "does not take a position" on sexuality, birth control, or abortion). What they "do" behind the scenes is another story. Ref. Source 9
Girls Gone Bad: The Girl Scouts" Link to Planned Parenthood
Say it ain't so! We have heard about this for years, read some articles written a long time ago. We have clutched our Thin Mintsâ„¢ and our Peanut Butter Pattiesâ„¢ and closed our eyes and said, "We won't believe it until we have more proof."
Now a little soccer mom from St. Louis has done the work for us. She has proof. The Girl Scouts are linked to Planned Parenthood, the United Nations" abortion agenda and a lot of other really bad stuff. Ref. Source 3
