Mim Introduction

Wow, um, I'm not too sure how to go about this.

Maybe I should go look at other ones for examples, but then this won't really be terribly authentic, but rather an imitation, won't it?

Well, here we go.

Hi!

I'm Mim.

I like chocolate, post-modernism, fantasy games, and have a wide taste in music- though I'll admit to not being as fond of country and reggae as I am of other music. (I have an embarrassing weakness for swing/big band and 80s rock)

I thought I'd check this place out, was sent here from another forum I post on quite frequently, and told me there was a text-based fantasy game that was great fun, and that sounded pretty exciting, so, well, here I am.

I have role-played in a couple games for an extended period of time, though with different systems of coding and the like. Actual systems I've used, though, are limited to The Window, and.... And, that's all I'd say I'm decent enough in. I have wanted to play Vampire: The Masquerade for a while though, after finishing Bloodlines. 'tis epic! (Malkavian looks like so much fun, my stars)

Otherwise, I shall poke around and see what's happening! This place looks really friendly and inclusive, and that's always great. .

Introduction Mim

Welcome to the site Mim! I have been involved here for a while and it is a welcoming community. There are several very active Dungeons & Dragons games going right now. Most if not all are taking on new characters still. Even if you aren't very experienced in those games people will be glad to help you learn the system.

I love Vampire the Masquerade also! It's my favorite role playing game. There are no current games going for it which is quite unfortunate. Hopefully in the future someone will start one up. There is nothing to be embarrassed about liking big band/ swing music. I love that music too. You aren't alone *smile*.
