Any one tampering with the UPC codes on the product to get it at a cheaper price are causing prices to be higher for everyone else. Theft is theft no matter how big of small and it is wrong. Many items are priced in a way to allow for the store to make money by them figuring out that 10-15% of the products will be stolen thus the price of the other 86% or sold product will off set that which is stolen so that the store profit thereby. Now if we did not have people stealing then prices could be lower and more people able to afford stuff.
