What kind of missiles are used in Saudi Arabia for offensive or defensive purposes? Does Saudi Arabia manufacture these missiles? If not, where are they allocated from? Does Saudi Arabia's local military have missiles capable of intercontinental travel?
Saudi Arabia has the wealth and the strategic importance to get any missiles they want short of nuclear missiles… and they have. They have state of the art missiles from the US, France, and the UK. These include surface to air, air to surface, air to air, surface to surface, anti tank, and anti ship missiles. They are also considering developing their own IRBM as a counter to Iran's IRBMs and nuclear ambitions. This started under President Obama because they felt he was too weak on Iran and they didn't trust that he would back them (Saudi Arabia) up in push came to shove. They have since backed off on that somewhat now that President Trump is in office.
