
Anaesthetic drug 'numbs memory'
Low doses of a commonly-used anaesthetic could prevent painful memories forming, say researchers.

If we go through life with no painful memories then we are just fooling ourselves. Life is hard and there are going to be painful memories to not have to deal with any pain your going to get hurt bad and not see it coming at all. We take our pain and learn from it. This is what makes us who we are. I do not see anything good coming out of this drug.

Memory is nothing that should be toyed with. If you have a painful memory then get help and deal with it. It it a lesson learned would you really wish to keep repeating it?
