Heroin Ring Found In Ohio High School

More I read, more I am convinced that public schools are not an option anymore, anywhere:
QUOTE Westlake- Police have arrested three Westlake High School students and broke up what police called a ring of students using heroin. Police raided two homes Wednesday afternoon, arresting two 17-year-old male students on drug charges and one of their mothers. Officers discovered the mother had a personal stash of cocaine, said Capt. Guy Turner. Her son was arrested for drug offenses involving heroin and marijuana, he said. He has a record that includes underage possession of cigarettes, curfew violations and underage drinking, he said. The other 17-year-old student was turned over to his mother. Police found some drug paraphernalia at the two homes, but no heroin. Police do not believe any of the heroin transactions took place at the school, he said. The investigation started Jan. 28 when Westlake High officials heard from parents concerned about rumors that students were using heroin, Turner said.... Source 7r
