Any Disadvantages To Being A Left Handed Video Gamer?

Is there any disadvantages to being a left handed video gamer? Are most games and controllers based on a right handed person?

I find no disadvantage of a controller as I am able to use either hand. I think it would be easier for a left handed person since the main control is the joystick on the left side. I find it easier to control the movements this way.

As a left-hander, I have issues with PC games that are keyboard driven when they bind commands for a right handed user. I don't want to use ASDE for movement. Good games allow you to do your own settings. Better games have left and right handed control options. Since we are only 10% of the population approximately, its obviously not a priority to build that code in but it is nice. Freedom to rebind controls is the best solution. Ambidextrous and right handers don't know how good they have it *smile*.
