My First Poem
The sun shimmered in the heat waves
As he stares out over the aching desolation
Like a bronze image in the sand
Seemingly untouched by the murderous sun.
Evidences of scarcely healed wounds
Covers his clean cut limbs.
The suns glare blind's him,
As dizziness and nausea rise in his brain.
He strives on regardless.
