Two very amateur bandits encounter an officer while attempting to rob a 7 Eleven. He did a good job in handling it as though it was a routine stop. Note: There may be some language. Do you think it was warranted for the officer to shoot the two of them?

We only see the cop but we don't see what the criminals were doing. They could have been pointing their gun at him and just because they say its fake it doesn't mean its fake.

I'd say he handled it quite well. He shot to wound, disabling both men about as quickly as would be feasible. In the heat of the moment it is effectively impossible to tell most fake guns from the real thing.
I personally own several airsoft replicas. For most of them, the only external difference between them and the real thing is the inner barrel is a few millimeters too narrow. Trying to tell the difference when one is pointed at you is liable to get you killed.
At 29 seconds in, the man in blue points the gun at the door that the officer is entering. The officer did not have time to find out if it was fake or not.

That policeman went into action right away I think he probably saw what was happening before he entered because its all glass front. One thing I did notice is he acted without calling for backup first.

You're right Daishain, what I meant is he didn't wait for backup before acting but that's assuming he already knew they were there but he did not enter with his gun in his hand so I guess he only knew when he entered.
