This would work with certain sports like boxing where its already the norm to see pretty ladies show the ring numbers or stand by the boxers but tennis is not a sport with this so making an introduction like this is in bad taste.

While this was something they were trying to see how it would go over I think it was over the top. I hope that they learned that this was not a very good idea and stop now before we have bikini clad women walking around the tennis court holding the current scores.

Don't they get enough eye candy in women's tennis? Tennis is not that kind of sport, its supposed to be one of the few classy sports but there is always some knuckle head that wants to pervert it.

I like watching tennis at times. I think it is a great sport and I am not able to do well in that sport as my shots were always too powerful and not in bounds. Yes women's tennis has some nice eye candy as I am sure men's tennis has some nice eye candy to the ladies. We do not need to hype up the sexuality in this sport at all I believe.

Yeah it was way over board just to let the players know what round they would be playing in. We could have done with just letting them know as they signed in for the tournament.
