What a waste to have a woman who could probably be a model or married to some good guy who could take care of her instead throw it all away for fast money.
From a tactical standpoint would you choose some looking hot to pass through something? Seems like they would bring more attention than the opposite.

There have been cases where grandparents were caught being mules. It's a matter of risk versus reward - if people feel that the money or the threat justifies the risk, they will be a mule. Jail time for first offenders is usually small, so those are the kinds of people that most drug runners want to use. Consider the OP - they were on a cruise ship, delivering drugs into Australia. They owed the dealer over $20k, and the dealer probably paid for the cruise, so they saw this as an easy way to get out of the debt and have fun. I wish my mortgage bank would work that way!

That's true what Gknight is saying the druggies get these girls owing lots and then make them pay for it doing their bidding but usually its also human trafficking too. Let's give these some girls at least some credit for not being stupid enough to swallow the packets. When they do that its the worst.

I don't know the statistics but when I do see news about a drug mule being caught it tends to be a woman more than a man so maybe you have a good perception on which gender tends to be caught rather than which gender actually does it more *wink*.
