As flying gets more stressful, some passengers turn rude
And behavior is unlikely to get better, some involved in the travel industry say, because irritants such as extra airline fees and more crowded planes aren't going away soon. "The flying experience is terrible," says Anne Banas, executive editor of SmarterTravel.com. "You're getting less legroom. People fight over things like capacity in overhead bins. Airlines are charging bag fees. ... Airlines are doing things that are making it more difficult and uncomfortable for the passenger, and the customer service isn't getting that much better. You compound those factors, and you have a lot of frustration in the air." Ref. Source 9
It 's our whole lifestyle that is stressful any more and this is what this stress is leading to. We see it other places like road rage on our highways, rudeness in our malls and grocery stores, and people getting shot in parking lots. I still think this is at least partially due to being in a time of change and perhaps a time when humanity is evolving but isn't there yet. We still have our hunter DNA calling out to us yet many of us have no way to satisfy that urge… except in ways that are clearly antisocial and against the law.
Yeah plus add that to a generation that has been raise with participation trophies to re-enforce the you are good enough to do anything and you are special. Makes most every one feel they deserve what they want and others will have to bow down to them even if they are clearly wrong.
