One officer killed in standoff after police chase
One officer was killed in a standoff between police and an armed suspect in Pomona, California. The standoff remained underway Saturday, more than 12 hours after it began.
The suspect barricaded himself inside an apartment home after fatally shooting an officer and wounding a second one, authorities said.
The shootout began after the suspect evaded police in a pickup, crashed and fled on foot. Source 5v
