Insect toxin detected in the world's longest animal. The longest animal in the world, the bootlace worm, which can be up to 55 meters long, produces neurotoxins that can kill both crabs and cockroaches. The toxins could be used in agricultural insecticides, among other things. Source 9m.

That is a supper long creature at around 180.4 feet long! Given the delicate nature of worms its amazing that it can retain its own to such a length.
