The family’s attorney, Ben Crump, held a press conference with his legal team Friday to announce the results of an independent autopsy performed by Dr. Bennet Omalu. Sacramento district attorney will not file criminal charges against officers who fatally shot Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man, last year. Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert released the results of an investigation during a news conference Saturday. Clark, 22, was an unarmed black man chased as a suspect in a series of car break-ins on March 18, 2018. Police officers told investigators they thought he was advancing on them with a gun when they fired. Clark was found not be carrying a firearm.
