Imagine, a baby boy was the witness of a brutal attack to his own mother. My goodness, domestic violence is such an issue in this country! The weapons, the methods, everything is macabre.
QUOTE AN UNIDENTIFIED baby boy has been kept safe while his mother battles for her life, police said yesterday.
Simone Joseph, 28, the baby's mother, was found bleeding and unconscious by police upstairs the San Juan Priority Mall on Saturday around 3 p.m.
Joseph was found with several wounds to her head, which police believe were sustained during a chopping attack.
When police went to the crime scene on Saturday, they said they found the baby lying next to his mother.
The police were able to immediately identify the woman from a national identification card in her pocket.
But up to last night, the baby's identity remained a mystery.
No relative has reported either Joseph or the baby missing, police said yesterday....

Life Fights Mom Chopped
This is terrible I hope her family soon notices her missing and steps forward. Any that can do an act like this needs to be jailed for a long time. I am glad the child is OK and hope she pulls through to identify her attacker.

This is a sign of a great mother. I hope that she pulls through. It sounds like she was willing to give up her life to make sure her son or a helpless baby was protected. I hope she wakes up enough to give police a name of who did this. I hope if they get a name something is done to the person(s) responsible.
