I understand this woman is very upset but sue them for a million bucks? Wow, that's a lot of money. CVS should have fired the employee right away.

Aliza but that's just it, I just read the article and CVS isn't going to fire the person in question but just "Train" them better, it seems like they want those type of people representing their company. It is a very stupid move if you ask me.
CVS/pharmacy stores will stop selling cigarettes and other tobacco products by October 1, its parent company, CVS Caremark, says.
Ending tobacco sales "Is the right thing for us to do for our customers and our company to help people on their path to better health," Larry J. Merlo, president and CEO of CVS Caremark, said in a statement.
The company also announced that it plans to launch a national smoking cessation program in the spring.
The retailer estimates it will take an annual loss of $2 billion from tobacco shoppers. CVS Caremark hasn't reported its year-end results yet, but it took in nearly $94 billion in revenues in the first nine months of 2013, according to its most recent earnings report. Ref. CNN
CVS is buying health insurance giant Aetna, the companies announced Sunday.
If approved, the $69 billion acquisition -- $77 billion including debt -- would drastically remap the health care industry. CVS Health is a massive drugstore chain and prescription drug insurer, while Aetna is one of the nation's largest health insurers.
It would also go down as the largest health insurance deal in history, far exceeding Express Scripts' $29 billion acquisition of Medco in 2012, the last record-holder. Ref. CNN.
