This is really good news. It's sad to see that we are already trashing space as we barely have a presence there. Anything that can clean it up is a good thing.

Yes all the junk that is up there is really making going into space a hazard now more and more. It is like going to a beach wanting to enjoy a nice day in the sun and finding that beach littered with broken glass. We need to find a way to clean up the space junk and this is a start.

They say there is already so much junk out there that if we continue what we are doing our planet will eventually begin to look like Saturn rather than Earth. It really makes me happy to know that we have invented technology which will actually help with this finally.

How can we focus on space travel if leaving our planet is extremely dangerous in and of itself just because right as you exit you get rammed by trash that is flying at bullet like speeds around the planet.
