Motion Picture Academy Expulsions
Motion picture academy expels Bill Cosby and director Roman Polanski. Cosby, who was convicted of indecent assault April 26, and Polanski, who fled the country to avoid jail time for a 1970s sex case were found to have violated the Academy’s new standards of conduct. Ref. USAToday.
