Eric Schneiderman resigns as N.Y. Attorney general after allegations of physical violence against women surface. Schneiderman, who has positioned himself as a combatant of sexual harassment and abuse, resigned as New York’s attorney general on Monday after four women accused him of physical violence and illicit drug and alcohol use. Those allegations, recounted in an article posted in "The New Yorker," were based on similar-but-separate stories from women who had romantic relationships or encounters with the state attorney general. Good. We don't need fake attorney generals just like we don't need fake news. The women describe him like a sadist who wanted them to act out violent 'role-play'. One lawyer claimed she was slapped hard across the face when she refused his advance. My only regret is they should have come forward before.
