Droughts Cause Mosquitoes To Feed More

Dehydration prompts more blood feeding by mosquitoes. Biologists have found that dry conditions prompted house mosquitoes to seek a blood meal. This could explain why researchers have found higher rates of disease transmission during droughts. Source 3x.

More Feed Mosquitoes Droughts

I have not noticed this during droughts but I can understand it as there would be less places for the mosquitoes to grow thus making it more likely to get bit as they look for other places to lay their eggs.
