The Argentinians will need to change their game plan going against Croatia. If Messi can pull it off I will give it a 2-1 Argentina win.

This is a must win match for Argentina as having one point is not good enough to qualify at the top of the group. Everyone will be looking to see if Messi and the rest of the Argentine team can step up to the plate and shine. Unfortunately, they will be pitted against a tough team: Croatia.

This is going to be a interesting game and from watching the first games by each team it is hard to say who will win. While Argentina has Messi it takes more than one person to win. I am going for the upset here as I did not think Argentina looked that good. Final score Croatia 2 - Argentina 1.

Well… the first half saw Argentina commanding the stage trying to make a goal but failing. There were some periods with sloppy Argentine defense that the Croatians capitalized on and that proved to be prophetic for the second half.

The whole game the Argentine goal keeper never picked up the ball but chose to kick it. In the second half he kicked it to the Croatian striker who used it to make a goal. Then the Croatians made another goal and another.

Argentina's style of play lacked the kind of drive that winners need to win games. For instance, they will clear the ball haphazardly. When the opposing team has the ball they do not run back quickly to defense but virtually walked. Its almost like they do not want to be there. Messi, on whose shoulders lies the pride of Argentina hardly makes contact with the ball.

Croatia progress towards the next group while Argentina's progression is now suspect.
