Martian dust storm grows global: Curiosity captures photos of thickening haze. A storm of tiny dust particles has engulfed much of Mars over the last two weeks and prompted NASA's Opportunity rover to suspend science operations. But across the planet, NASA's Curiosity rover, which has been studying Martian soil at Gale Crater, is expected to remain largely unaffected by the dust. The Martian dust storm has grown in size and is now officially a 'planet-encircling' (Or 'global') dust event. Source 6d

Wow, that's very interesting. I always love to hear what Nasa is doing with regards to searching for other habitable planets for humans to live on, and I can't wait to see just how the official launch of men to mars will unfold. I've often wondered, being a totally blind person, what does space sound like? Hek what does it even smell like and what is the temperature, and what would it be like to actually be in a real space colony on the moon or some other planet like mars. I've watched some programs on the science channel about what Nasa is up to with regards to coming up with different kinds of habitat ideas for man's not too distant journey to Mars. This dust storm sounds like it's a hek of an event.
